Frame the view

The meeting room no longer met Staples' wishes and requirements. The wish was to make the space new, but above all innovative. The space is wedged between two buildings and is therefore a bit too gloomy. In the room, a window offers a view of the automated warehouse.

Architect about the new plan for Staples

Thanks to the use of 2 different floor materials, the room has a dual function, meeting and informal consultation.

The XXL conference table of 6x2 meters is custom made. Around this table are 22 comfortable bucket chairs on a sled frame. There is a quirky carpet under the conference table. It has a kind of vintage kilim look, but in today's modern and fresh colors. For a wow factor, the carpet continues onto the wall, now framing the window overlooking the warehouse. The carpet is surrounded by a PVC wood-look floor in a herringbone pattern for a luxurious look. Informal discussions take place on the Unite, thanks to the ears this seater has privacy. To dress up the space more, XXL floor lamps were chosen.
